Complaint is to Las Vegas Paving Corporation for failure to take responsible measures diverting traffic either by flagmen or by employees “not properly insuring placement” of safety orange cones for commuters entering lane choice on south bound traffic during construction on Valley View (zip code, 89102) between Mountain View Blvd and El Camino Blvd. The cause of damage is due driving my wife’s vehicle over freshly applied layers of “Tack Coat” on Valley View Blvd, which coated the vehicle under carriage and lower driver and passenger side doors from the front wheels to the back bumper. This “Tack Coat” much likes an emulsion or bituminous asphalt is used to usurer bounding, and is applied prior to the application of hot mixed asphalt (HMA). On my best belief of said incident occurred between Dec. 2012- Feb. 2013 on a Saturday between 7:15 AM – 7:30 AM. Note; time of incident is correct, day of the week is the best I can remember.
Because of the reason I cannot recall an extract date, I usually do not normally drive my wife’s vehicle, but only on occasional weekends to work and this is why I didn’t notice the damaged right away, and when my wife noticed it sometime latter, I thought I could clean it when I had time with simple Bug & Tar Remover.
