Flex-Seal's phone order is confusing. Either I pushed the wrong button at order time or the system generated a double order. I expected to be charged $19.99 for one can of Flex-Seal and $9.95 for that can and the free one in the "special offer". Total: $39.89.
What was charged to my card was $79.78, or twice as much as a single order. When I used the link www.trackorderstatus.com to check my order, I found two cans at $19.99 each and two cans for free, plus four $9.95 s&h charges. I eventually found that their contact information is:
Flex Seal™
PO Box 8205
Van Nuys, CA 91409
Telephone: 1-800-307-6201
They answer the phone starting at 5am on weekdays.
This is the important part: When I called, the first-level customer service person's final decision was "Well, sir, you did make the phone call to order it, so there's nothing we can do". I asked for a supervisor. She came on the line and offered me a credit to my card of $29.85 (three S&H charges) and told me I could return the order, or part of the order and they'd refund the $19.99 for each pair of cans I return. Since I'm returning all four cans, they'll refund $39.98. I'll be out $9.95, which they tell you up front. Just remember to ask for a supervisor if you don't get the results you want. The $29.85 credit showed up on my card in two days.
