My husband and I helped our daughter set up a club telco internet via tele conferencing. Had to travel to ge modem. Nothing worked- no phone no internet. Daughter told may need to get tech in at a cost of 100- 300 dollars. said no and cancelas they could not provide a service. Parents authorised 3 weeks ago to debit 70.00 only and bill daughter for modem cost and internet. Today they stole $191.00 from our account. Called them, called Ombudsman. said we will only get back $120 when they get their modem back. Still want to charge 70.00 for connection.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU KNOW YOUR PHONE LINE WILL WORK AND NEVER OFFER TO PAY ANYTHING TO THEM til you get a sevice. now we have to call ombudsman again as this is unacceptable. Basically the stole and then treat you like you are the dishonest one. I have been with telstra for 20 years and have never had this done! BEWARE CLUB TELCO!
