I received a convincing looking check for $3,990.00 drawn on Silicon Valley Bank 3003 Tasman Dr Santa Clara, CA 95054 and also has AIRES PH. INC. as the authorized signature of Rebecca Hall. Accompanying the check is a letter dated April 17, 2013 from Stonegate Financial Services 5000 Victoria Street Oxford UK1 3AS. The letter said this is from total prize money of $3 Million US dollars that was shared and presented among the other 19 declared winners. It also said Please do not attempt to use this check until you call. We urge you to keep this winning CONFIDENTIAL until your claim has been processed and your cash remitted to you as this is part of our security protocol and to avoid double claiming or unscrupulous acts by non participants taking advantage of this program. You are advised to contact your claim agent immendiately and quote your claim number (JD/HGB - 0202) for further clarification as indicated below within 5 business days. (Claim Agent) LLOYD LEWIS, 1-905-598-5410. The check and letter arrived in an envelope with the COSTCO WHOLESALE logo printed in the return address area and a Canada post mark in the postage area. It sure smells like a scam so beware.
