On Sunday, April 7, 2013, went to a Premium Destinations presentation at 3:00 p.m. Before the presentation I asked 3 people is this was for a time share and they said no, it was a travel club.
The entire group was given a information sheet to fill out. Without my knowledge they had 10,000.00 approved on a credit card that same day in my name.I told them that I wanted them to contact the bank, and have itzeroed out because I did not want it. I was told by several people that I had 10 days to cancel. The next day April 8, 2013 I went back gave them a letter in writing that I was canceling the contract and they asked for their mannual back. I also sent them a certified letter by mail stating that I was canceling the contract. Kathy McCarty signed under my name that I canceled the contract. She said thatthe cointract would be canceled ASAP since I can in person. I did not sign the membership agreement because I did not agree with it. Someone else filled in my name and other information, however, I never signed the agreement.
It is stated in the agreement that You,the buyer, may cancel this transaction at any time prfior to midnight of the third business day after the dte of the transaction. and it also states that if you cancel, the club will return, within 10 days of the date of which you give notice of cancellation, a total refund. This is on the membership agreement, then if you hand deliver and send by certified mail before 12:00 mid night 0f the third business day which I did,why would they get a credit card in your name the same day and take the money out the same day you attend the presentation.
This is total fraud. I did everything that I was suppose to do.
Your help will be very much appreciated. This company is a scam.
