On January 1st I placed an order online with Spray Gun World for an automotive paint spray gun kit. I received confirmation that my credit card had been charged $455 USD right away. When nothing had arrived by January 11th I attempted to contact Spray Gun World for an update. I discovered that they do not provide any phone numbers on their website, so I sent an e-mail requesting confirmation that the order had shipped and a tracking number. I followed up with a second e-mail January 21st requesting that they either provide proof of shipment or a refund. On January 22nd I got an answer from Mike Davis stating "It typically takes 3-4 weeks to CA. You should have your item at the end of the month." February 5th I e-mailed again and on February 12th Mike sent the response "The hold up is your pps system they are due in this week. We have the guns. So one more week." I replied that this was unacceptable and requested a refund.
I sent several more e-mails requesting a refund that went unanswered. On March 16th I got this reply: "Your order is processed. Only the liner system we are waiting for. Will follow up with an ETA. The order is so old the computer won’t allow us to refund anymore so will get in the mail."
As of April 21st I have not received my merchandise, my refund, or a response to any of my e-mail.

This is almost the exact same issue I had, only 9 months prior. Exact same reason too (liner systems not in stock).
After I placed the order, I realised there were so many issues with SGW - so I offered bogus positive feedback to friends, providing loads of business in Australia once mine arrived.
And sure enough, in a few weeks, the items arrived.
From what I have read online, I am one of the lucky few that avoided this scam. However, they do have the goods - so maybe they are just lazy? -
