My name is Dick (Personal Information Removed)and my address is (Personal Information Removed). I purchased a "New Pool Heater", Model SPS6A-1C on 02/04/2009 from SureTemp and had it installed by thier own installation crew. The unit came with a 10year warranty, which is one of the primary reason for my decision to purchase the unit from SureTemp in lieu of many other manufacturer's. Following installation, the next season we experenced problems with the unit which required the replacement of the "Mother Board". We are currently experencing a problem with the unit in which the unit will not start "automatically" as designed. Therefore, we are required to start it "Manually" each time we want to run the unit to heat our pool. The next problem is that the heater then "shuts down" before the pool is heated, and we have to go out and fool around with the controls for 30 minuites or so, in order to get the unit to "restart". This is required several times, just to get the pool "up to temp" the first time. When I tried to contact SureTemp in regard to scheduling a "Warranty Repair", I found out that both of thier phone numbers have been "Disconnected" with no "Forwarding" phone number given. Both the Fort Myers and Pompano Beach Office have been "Diconnected". My unit still has the remainer of the 10 Year warranty on it, and I have no way to contact anyone to perform the required service work on the unit. Since these units were "Supposingly" custom built "In House" by SureTemp Manufacturing Co. LLC. and now I am unable to find any type of contact information for the company, I have no idea as to whom I am suppose to call for the required warranty work. To say the least this is very frustration, to say nothing about having a "useless piece of equipment" that I cannot even have serviced now, when I was promised in writting I had a "guarrantted 10 warranty" on the unit. Once a again, the consumer gets screwed.
