I was contacted by a Victory Sports sales representative about advertising on tee shirts for a local high school. This sounded like a good idea so I said yes over the phone. The next day I was contacted by a Victory Sports worker stating that if I paid for this service today I would receive a 10% discount. I had not even received an invoice yet so I said no I will pay it when it is due in March. I then spent the next 2 weeks leaving messages on the original sales representatives voice mail about sending in artwork to get this process started. I never received any return calls so I thought this might be a scam. A few days later I receive an invoice and proof of artwork. I was puzzled since I did not send in any artwork and still had not heard from my original sales person. I then decided to contact the local high school to see if anyone had heard of Victory Sports and if they actually did business with Victory Sports. No one at the high school had heard of Victory Sports. Now I really thought this was a scam. At this point I send an email to the email address that was used to send me an Invoice and state that I want to cancel any verbal agreement that I had with Victory Sports. I then get contacted by a woman named Tillie from Victory Sports. I explained that no one at the local high school had heard of Victory Sports. Tillie gives me a name a number of their contact at the high school so I can verify that Victory Sports is legitimate. I get an email for the teacher and send her an email. After a few days she responds and tells me she does not know who Victory Sports is. So again I send an email to Tillie explaining that her contact does not know who she is, and reiterate that I am canceling any verbal agreement we may have. At this point I still have not signed anything or sent in any artwork. It is my understanding that Tillie contacted this person at the high school, because a few days later the teacher sends me an email stating that Victory Sports is legitimate but she does not explain why she first responded that she did not know who they were. I have now had it and just have a bead feeling in my stomach about the whole thing. I again email Tillie stating that I want to cancel any and all agreements that I may have with Victory Sports, even though I still have not signed anything and did not send in any artwork. Tillie then emails me back stating that it is not her fault that no one at the high school new who they were. She also stated that she has a recorded verbal contract and that me Invoice is past due. She also decides to tell me she is in charge of collections and that if I don't pay the invoice she will send my bill to an outside collections agency. I explained everything that had happened and that I felt the whole thing was a scam so I was not comfortable doing business with Victory Sports. She said that was not her problem and that I just didn't want to pay the bill. at this point the call got heated and she hung up on me. I called back a couple of times before she picked the phone back up, I reiterated that I did not want to business with Victory Sports and they should not print by business name on anything. She just said she didn't have time to deal with this and that she had paying customers to deal with so I better pay the bill or have it go to collections. I just said good luck treating your other customers this way because we are not doing business and I am not paying a bill for which they did not do anything.

I think the whole thing was a scam from the beginning. One person calls you about a great advertising deal then disappears. No one ever answers the phone number listed and their website, you are always sent to voice mail. Then they immediately try and get you to pay a bill even though you may not have received one. If you do not pay immediately, then you are pushed to the side or just left to wait until your bill is considered past due. I wasn't sent a bill or a request for artwork until after they considered the bill past due. Then when you try and cancel because you know or think it is a scam, they try and bully you with threats about sending you to a collections agency.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
I CONSIDER MYSELF LUCKY THAT I DID NOT PAY THE BILL TO RECEIVE A 10% DISCOUNT. I WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT $324.00 FOR NOTHING.
