I applied and recieved a 400.00 loan from Ameriloan in July 2012. I decided after they had deposited it, I did not want it. I attempted to give it back and ameriloan would not take it back, although now they are saying they would have taken it back, with no interest. I closed the account and contacted ameriloan to pay them back and the loan in a day was now 620.00. I contacted My Pay Day Relief, who attempted and continues to attempt to settle with them, to no avail.
My complaint is that Ameriloan calls my job incessantly, most days, twice a day. Now I am informed they no longer ask for me, but my executive director, which is over my supervisor. I have called ameriloan, attempted to settle myself, and have asked them to stop calling my work as it jeopardizes my job. Ameriloan continues to call my workplace. They now state I owe them 795.00, and will not deal with My Pay Day Relief because ameriloan's customer's have complained of My Pay Day Relief. I can't imagine anyone being a repeat customer of Ameriloan. I contacted my state's Attorney General's office to file a complaint, and they tell me, AmeriLoan is not licensed in Maine, and were told to stop conducting business in Maine.

- Dear Faith, I completely understand how you feel I am fighting the same punks, but as far as what I was gonna tell you try to go to your law enforcement agencies to have them go after ameriloans for harrassments against them for contacting your job like that because legally they cannot commence with your employer like that you can charge them for discrimination!! And then if you found out they are not legally licensed to loan money in your area you DO NOT have to pay them back,SO DON'T especially after everything they have done to you ok!! Well I hope that helps you alittle bit k & GOODLUCK!!??
