I recently advertised a moped on Gumtree (Australia). I received a test message asking me to respond via a email address ([email protected]). This in itself seemed odd to me and as my email address uses my full name I was hesitant. I looked up his name on the internet and found all the complaints against him here so I'm glad I didn't respond, scam avoided.
