I loaned from cash in a wink from the internet here in Louisiana last Nov. 2012 amounting to $750. I specified that I will repay it in just two installments and I will be done. She agreed and instructed me to sign an electronic 1 page document which I readily did electronically sign for them. The amount was immediately wired to me . The next payday, I was deducted a small amount and though I wondered why, I didn't mind because it was just part of the interest, the next payday,a different amt.again , consistently deducting through ACH and I didnt bother computing because I thought they must have been extending my deadline to the next payday because the interest was added. I soon forgot about it. When I realized , they have already unbelievably deducted me a total of $1406.00 and if the principal amt.of $750 was deducted from it, they have earned $650.25 from me already. I was frantic that this has not yet stopped and so I called them that I have overpayed. Much to my shock, they told me I still have a balance of $545.25 .I said no, you made a mistake,you overdeducted me and this has to stop. They said they rolled over the balance and added interest on it everytime .This was a blow to me since I told them before that I need to pay in 2 payments only so definitely they didn't follow it and just put me on a long term loan which I didn't even know. After that ,they sent me emails which told me I have been delinquent and failed to respond to them. These are lies because ACH of 2X consistent deductions from my account are never delinquent. They never contacted me other than when I started calling them. Talking to the supervisor that this has to stop and he needs to fix this for me, he said I have to email him back their previous emails because he wanted to see it to help me. I did so and instead of helping me, he said it was a mistake and those emails are not intended for me. However, he said my debt had rolled over because my loan is a long term one and I still owe them a balance of $545.25 & if I want the rollover to stop I have to pay it off immediately. I disagreed and since they are of no help and I am broke and helpless because of their doing, I closed my account. They kept calling me many times a day, or emailing me everyday or texting me that they missed payment and I have to contact them to settle my debt before it goes out of hand . I understand they still are going to bloat out the interest upon the "so-called remaining balance" upon their terms. They hint upon legal action and I am not afraid because I think I have been a victim here and have long overpayed the principal and skyrocketing interest. I want them stopped since I know they will have to get more victims- unwary people like me who are desperate for a fast answer to an emergency financial need, only to fall prey to a ruthless loan shark like cash in a wink.
