I was on Facebook and noticed a company offering free trial face creams u had to pay postage so I gave my card details. The company took 3 99 for the postage. But I have noticed they have taken a further 97.95 out of my account to which I did not agree to.

- This is a bad company. Do 2 things. Replace your card, this will have a different number and so the old one is invalid. Go onto their site, login, and scramble all your info. They keep your card details without your permission. And if you just got caught by the 'postage' ensure you don't get caught for more by also transferring all your money until you get the new card.

- I have done the exact same. as Mary says above, you need to cancell your bank card, I've not scrambled my info on their website as i clicked it through a 'wanted product testers' page on facebook, I have emailed them on [email protected] to cancell my account & stating clearly i do not want anything more from them, they have replied but the confirmation is not clear enough & i have asked for clearer, they take time to reply. I have tried phoning them but you always get an automated message saying everyones too busy with other people & they never get back to you if you leave a mobile number. good luck!

- Donna and anyone else. I think if you look at your original confirmation e mail you will find that you do have 'an account' set up with them. And also complain loudly to facebook and twitter if you have it. They both finance themselves by 'adverts' so they do not want people not having anything to do with their finance stream.

- I can't find my confirmation email, i will have deleted it. I have had a reply to say my account has been cancelled & i will be charged no more funds, so make sure you get an email so you have it in black & white to proove. I have cancelled my facebook account for now as i'm quite shocked that this sort of thing can happen.
