Agreed to do renovation on the outside of my house. I handed him $21000.00 in two installments. He never showed up. When he did, he was drunk. Ripped apart my home, bought tools on my credit card and stole them. When I fired him, he didn't return the money, he left my house exposed to the elements, he was threatening. He also put a stop work order on my home, I had to hire another contractor, which has now costed me another $75000.00. To date, a year later, my house is under scaffolding, because the city will not approve it, I am now out of money and basically out of a home because of this scamming drunkard.I feel I have no where to turn. I am a single father just trying to live an honest life, and this house was my life's savings.
