i received a call from #(202)621-0436, stating to me i was eligible for a government grant of $7000. i listened to the women,Katherine johns, tell me i would not have to pay back.she then transferred my call to mark cooper, who instructed me to fill out a western union form for sending $280, plus $10 transaction fee, to india, with an agent jytte merete name on it. he then instructed me that the same agent name would be sending me the grant money, & my $280 back from us government in washington d.c. mr cooper explained to me that this was normal, & that there were 15 citizens ahead of me, who were also due to receive their cash via western union. he then asked me to call him back at (202) 657-5808, which i did. the call was then transferred to carol alvarez, & she instructed me to not disclose any of this info with anyone other than herself. if i wanted the money on friday march 22,2013, i had to give her my checking account info, & numbers, which i hesitantly did. she then informed me that i was to have my grant money deposited into my account by midnight. i was to receive a text message, saying that the transaction was complete, but i never received this text. mr. cooper called me back saturday morning the 23rd of march, and told me that the government "found out" about this , & if i wanted this money, i had to pay them another &570. that is when i called the fbi. i asked mr cooper why they scammed me, & he just hung up on me. i went to my bank ,& closed down my account, so nothing more could be stolen from me.
