I went in for Power Steering Unit leak. $353 to replace, ok . Then they tell me my Water Unit is Leaking, I said NO it's not, I know alitte about mechanics and I want to see. They said I can't go in Garage Area. So I told them to do Power Steering unit and That's all. I go back and they had a Bill for $536. They had said they replaced the Water pump. That I had Okayed it ( which I didn't) I paid and before I got out of parking lot the Fan belt was squealing Loud and Terrible. So I went back in. They gave it to a young mechanic and he tried belt dressing and revived it at 4000 to 5000 RPM,s for 10 minutes.I told him to come over and tell me his dianogosis ... he turned and walked away. I went to the manager and told him you don't do that to motors.(revive that high) He said they do, so I told him to back it out and I would go to a REAL mechanic. I drove 2 miles with the Belt Screeching ALL the way. Found a mechanic that said the pulley"s on the Power Sterring Unit And the Water Pump was out of line. I paid him $177. for his work and New Belt because it showed me the old one was now Damaged from the high torgue the young Midas guy had put it through. The word Midas is about a Man that Put Gold above everything else. This Place Did Too. I went to a Mechanic in my home state and He SWEARS the Water Pump was still the original one that came with my van. Some they charged me for replacing a Water Pump, that they didn't. I called them and asked for my Money back and they said they did replace it. Liar Liar ! I will never Go to a Midas again and hope that if you read this You won't and tell your friends not to either .... It's a SHAME companies have to lie, cheat and prey on customers who just want Good Service for the money they work so HARD to Earn. Michael
