We were told we were approved for a $5,000.00 loan and all we had to do was show that we could make the first payment of $465, by putting it on a Vanilla Reload Network card. "Mark Willis" (1-818-666-1932), said the money would NOT be touched. We did what we were told, put the money on the card, scratched off the back, gave him the number, and the money was gone. No loan, no nothing. Then he tells us that they had a glitch in the system and that we would have to show proof again... because the Vanilla customer service froze the funds and the FTC took the money. We told him no, we wanted the 465 back he said he can't do it because there is no proof the money was actually paid in. But when we called Vanilla, they said the card was accessed once and the money was taken at that time. So we tried turning them in through the BBB and the FTC, and there isn't much they can do. And not only that, but When I called our Attorney General's office.... he kinda blew us off like- 'You were the ones that fell for it", that kinda make me mad, But this Mark guy from Payday loans of America keeps telling me that he will talk to my attorney and explain to him why we have to come up with more money and how this thing really works. Does he think we are really that stupi? To pay the funds again after being toyed with the first time?
