On or about March 6,2013 I negotiated a lease on a 2013 Chevy Volt. I paid a $500 deposit.

The delivery date was set for March 16.
.
Late in the afternoon of March 14 I received a call from the salesman telling me that the car could not be delivered at the agreed upon price. Either my down payment would have to be increased by $2000.00, or my monthly payments would increase by about $60.00. I spoke to the sales manager but he insisted upon the extra money. I then asked for the return of my deposit. It was returned to me.

It is my belief that once there was an agreed upon price and money changed hands, the dealer should have honored the agreed upon price. While we suffered no real damages this was, in our opinon, an abusive business practice. Of course we will not deal with Estero Chevrolet again.

My wife and I were very disappointed since this was to be the second vehicle purchased from Estero Chevrolet since the first of the year.

Respectfully,
Dr. and Mrs. Joseph
