Saw "Seek Td." advertising a free vehichle history report. Pay $1, which already is NOT FREE, and then if you cancel your account w/n 7 days you won't be billed $18.95. Well after I received their idea of a vehicle history report, I immeadiately said that I wanted to cancel the account. It was 8pgs of B.S.!! Now here is where its gets even worse... I did the"Chat w/a live person" thing to do the cancellation. "Greg" says he's sorry I'm deciding to canel, that he's activated the cancelation on the system, BUT in order 4 the canclation to be complete, in 48 HOURS log back into my account(which in it self would've probably re-activated the account!) & instructions would appear at the top of the page in a "solid red box." If I dont do this the the cancelation will not be final, it went on to say & only after completeling the cancelation would I receive a confirmation#& I'd no longer have access to the reports or credits. Then the idiots state, "THIS PROCEDURE IS IN PLACE TO ENSURE NO CANCELLATION IS EVER MISSED." Now please explain to me how leaving it up to the consumer, who is not happy w/ their product/service, to remember to log back into a account that they in now way want, to finalize this is suppose to ensure that no cancellation is never missed? Thats more like making sure that they never miss their opportuntiy to inhibit u from finializing cancellation be able to get your $!!! Im not a complete moron, I printed the chat that has almost the full address across the bottom from "Greg" so if any1 is a hacker extrodinare & wants it, feel free to contact me& i'll give it to ya!
