Spirit Airlines renewed my "$9 Fair Club" membership without my request or consent. When I saw the charge on my credit card, I called them to cancel and get a refund, but they wouldn't do it. I was told that I agreed to the company's terms to have automatic re-enrollment when I first signed up. Unfortunately I probably did, without even reading it, which I'm sure many people do....who has time to read pages of small print that sometimes so confusing that you need an attorney to translate!!! I think it's despicable that they renew your membership automatically! The only reason I see for this is to scam people out of their money. However, I don't think that the $59.95 is worth losing a customer over, as I will NEVER fly with Spirit, and I hope they'll go out of business soon!!!
