Complaint 218017 Details

I purchased a Nikon V1 camera for $299. A sales rep called me and stated, "You ordered the camera in silver, we only have it in white." Me being none-the-wiser, said, "Ok great! I wanted it in white anyway." The sales rep continued on to up sell me for a better battery and other accessories which brought the order up to $619. I have repeated called the company asking for the tracking information they promised to provide when the order shipped. The first person I spoke to said, "Of course, I'll send the tracking information to you right now." I did not receive it that day (3/5/13). On Wednesday (3/6/13) I called the company again. The rep said "Oh the email was sent but it can take 24-48 hours to receive it." I said come on, this is 2013 since when do emails take 24-48 hours. He said, "You just have to wait for the email." Today, I called them again because I had not received the email. The rep said to me today, "I will call UPS and get your tracking info right now." I called my local UPS and asked them if they had a package for me since it was suppose to be delivered today. The UPS rep said now we don't have anything for you. If the company gave it to UPS they would automatically receive a tracking number because the receipt number is the tracking number. I tried calling the company back again and there phone lines are closed until Monday. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!
