2 months ago I had an unauthorized debit from my account for $80 odd dollars. I did not agree to the charge nor did I have any idea where it came from. My card is set up and has ONLY been used for my business ADS, however this charge was unrelated. After about a week someone finally told me that they keep your card on file to make it EASIER for you to make purchases and that someone had purchased something. I asked them to tell me where the charge was coming from ( which app etc ) and also told them I felt very insecure using their ads if it links my card to random things I can be charged for without my knowledge. After asking them where the charge came from numerous times, they refunded me but refused to tell me where it came from and basically told me too bad and if it comes out again they won`t refund me. So here is the best part. Facebook does not allow you to remove your credit card AND they allow the card to be used without your confirmation. NO OTHER SITE DOES THIS. COMPLETELY INSECURE. So today on March 4th it happened again. However I have been warned that I cannot get a refund from the last time. I am still trying to get my credit card removed from their system and it looks like I will have to delete my business page and 2 years of work because they feel its ok to let random charges be made to your account without your knowledge. The person I originally spoke with was completely rude as well and slow. Of course just stopped talking to me at the end. ( I was very respectful in my message and thanked them for the initial refund ) however they did not remove my card or answer any of my questions, only ignored me. And now there is another charge which I have no control over. Who knows, maybe next week they will drain my account and I won`t be able to pay my mortgage. I`m very upset with Facebook. Sketchy company.
