I have been looking for flights to manila philipinnes to visit my fiancée.
came across cheapticket - deal.com and was impressed with there price for a return ticket from london heathrow .
I booked my ticket . was given flight details etc .
tried to pay via pay pal but was told there technical problems could I do bank transfer to andris benzin cheap ticket . barclays bank london .
done this and awaited my e-ticket . not heard anything so tried on a numerous occassions too contact them by phone and email .
contacted the airline . gave my name . nothing on there flight list.
so lost money . feeling angry and foolish with myself .
since then I have done some investigating and believe they were trading as cheapeticket and other names and Bp travel co . which is now OP Travel . london .
I have reported this too actionfraud but no one has been in touch with me to date .
my faith in the Uk police is not good . this gang seem to have new sites all the time .
surely the police can contact the bank and trace the accounts and follow where the cash finally lands up .
