I called Sunset publications to find out why they were still charging me and to unsubscribe from them. I was told by customer service(Mary)that the 30 days had already past that I had already been receiving magazines for over a year now. I told her that it was my impression that with the $79.95 I agreed to was a one-time fee. She quickly informed me that they had a phone recording saying that i agreed to the $79.95, which was for the first and last months payments, and then it was $39.95 a month for 30 months. I told her I could not afford that. and I wanted to unsubscribe. She said I had to pay for 30 months and there was nothing else that I could do.

  • I know of this "Mary". She called me just the other day informing me that my account was going to collections. I did receive magazines, which is about the only reason I am considering paying. Good luck and call the attorney general. I have seen other posters say they did that and they got a refund.
