Took in 14karat diamond stud earrings for repair to safety backing that slid off the post. The pair was taken into the back room and also cleaned. They did not feelo right after I put them on. The next day I took them to another jeweler for appraisal. Instead of the 1.43 weight that had been sold to me, the weight was reported as 1.28. Either the original is incorrect or the earrings were switched. The owner, Rob, does not want to discuss the matter with me to come to some resolution.
