3rd Jan Classic Living a sister company of Pound saver took £1.60 + £49.95 form bank account without authorisation and on 4th Feb Pound Saver took £1.60 + £99.95 again without any authorisation. I contacted the company via the free phone number on this site and was told my wife had purchased a steamer from Pitch TV some 5 years ago and must have approved this transaction then. WHAT 5 years ago and she has changed her bank and card since then. I have been advised they will refund the money within 10 days. I have also requested a data protection act disclosure as to what information they are holding and from where it was obtained. I await this information with bated breath. It would appear the major banks are aware of this companies activities but for some reason do not appear to be doing anything about it. It has been going on for some considerable time.
