I paid my phone bill online on Jan 14th. I go to check my bank acct on Jan 15th to make sure it cleared and see 2 additional charges for 2 different phone numbers of $27.75 a piece. Of course, I call Cricket and I was directed to call Vesta Cricket to discuss the unauthorized charges. I filed a dispute and was asked by whomever I spoke with if I wanted him to block my bank card from being able to be used to pay the bill and I told him that was fine. So anyway, he told me that I would be notified of whatever they find in their investigation within 30 days. I called to check the status of investigation around the 1st week of Feb and the guy I spoke to wouldn't even check on it. He just told me the status was that they have 15-30 days to notify me and that it hadn't even been 15 days yet, so I ended up just hanging up on him. Well, my mother goes to pay her Cricket bill yesterday (2-13-13)online and couldn't pay it, she called and they still would not let her pay it. They told her she had to go to the store and pay it because they had a dispute with me that was denied on Jan. 29th. First of all, why was I never notified??? Secondly, what does she have to do with MY dispute? She is not associated with my account at all. We used to have an account together last year, but I had been left Cricket. I didn't go back w/Cricket until I got my young son a new cell phone for Christmas, so why my mother's phone was associated with my account is foreign to me!! Anyhow, I called Vesta to discuss why I wasn't notified of their decision and why their decision was made. I spoke to Jessica who informed me that because I knew one of the phone numbers and had paid that bill before on my card, that my dispute was denied. (It was my oldest son's old phone which was NOT in his possession)!! They also denied the claim about the other number as well and I have NO CLUE what that number even is or where it came from. I authorized one charge and one charge only and that is to my youngest son's phone which is the only phone on my Cricket account. I find it mighty strange that no time had been put on the one number in at least a month or so and when I go to pay MY bill, there are suddenly two additional charges on two additional lines on the same day that I paid MY bill, that are not associated with my account period!!! They are frauds and what they did is saw the one number that I had paid for previously, took my money and made up ANOTHER bogus number and charged for that as well!! I told Jessica I wanted to dispute it and she told me the dispute was closed and the only way to open it back up was to file a police report???? Are you kidding me?? But that's fine, their customer service sucks, their attitudes suck and what they did is STOLE from me. But guess what, they DO NOT EVERRRRRRRRRRRR have to worry about having me as a customer again, nor my mother!!

  • oh and I forgot to mention that "Cricket" themselves know nothing about this...they are only showing one phone number on my account and one charge of $47.80 on Jan 14th (which is the only charge I authorized)
