Thru the internet I applied for a job as a Mystery Shopper. Per a Ken Peterson with Shoppersmeet I was hired and was told by email that I would receive information via USPS Priority mail. Next day, I received 2 checks--$2,459.00 each. This morning I received email asking me to Deposit one of the checks into my personal bank account. Deduct my $200. commission and from the balance, deduct the cost of a western union money transfer and send the remaining funds in CASH to the next shopper via western union. That shopper's name: Trevor Broderick, 1128 Pine St., Boulder, Colorado. Ken Peterson also said I was to scan my deposit slip and send that scanned deposit slip to him.
I phoned the FBI office in Charlotte, NC and was told to report this scam to you.
