My mother was attempting to get a reduction in interest on outstanding credit cards and somehow got caught up with these scam artist in November 2012. Just recently, she spoke to one of her creditors to inquire why she was being advised by NBM to pay one amount and her statement indicated another amount. The credit card company rep (Beverly) was very confused by my mother's questions and became concerned that something wasn't on the up-and-up. Therefore, Beverly requested to speak with someone that could assist my elderly mother. Hence, I looked more into the documents NBM sent my mother and decided to look them up online...and what did I see "National Bank Monitor SCAM" Just what I thought. I called the credit card company and discussed the issue with the freud department. NBM will rot in hell for doing this to elderly people and those whose can't afford such mess. They charged $1,299.00 to my mom's account....someone with limited income doesn't need this added burden.
