I let dishnetwork know I was moving in October of 2012 and I would not be able to hook up a dish at my new location. They suggest I stay on hold with my account to see if things would change and also that I had to pay $185.00 early disconection fee, for a 12 month plan that I was not aware of for a dvr connection I had added six months earlier. They would not produce any sort of contract. Then while trying to get get final bill which I agreed to pay, I got a collection notice from a credit company. For the $300.Dish did not inform me they were turning it over to collections, they said I would be ok? I called back they said nothing thay could do, pay bill. Very poor communication and customer service...

  • I've been put through the alot of stress and run arounds with diffrent dollar amounts scenarios and agreed to pay , in the mean time they turned me over to collections as I was trying to work with them on settling this account, It could have been settled weeks ago if they just let me know up front my true cost instead of buying time and racking up my bill. I think they should appoligize and excuse my bill.

When a customer signs up for DISH there is a 24 month agreement to carry basic programming. If for any reason they are unable to honor the 24 months there is an early termination fee that will be applied. To get a better idea of what happen with your account will you e-mail me?
