I replied to a listing for the Kalamazoo, MI area about adopting a siberian husky puppy. I got a reply from what seemed a very caring woman. We emailed back and forth a couple times asking each other questions. It turned out she was living in Cameroon in Africa on a "research project" and she had to stay there for three years. She obtained her late grandma's three husky puppies and said she just wanted to find a home for them, not to sell them. We believed the story and sent three different money transfers to them, two of them being refundable. These money transfers were for the ownership of the dog, insurance to ship the dog, and regarding quarantine. After three days of being skeptical we now believe this is definitely a scam.
