I went on line to the Generator Factory Outlet and found a DuroMax 8500 16.0 Hp Gas Generator w/ electric start & wheel kit for $999.00 and $200.00 discount if purchased that day. The generator was shipped by FedEx Freight by Maxtool, 3820 Micro Dr. Millinton, TN 38053 on 09/25/12, Freight # 2723341353. I received 10/02/12, box was not damaged on the outside; when I open the box the generator was bent by the electric start or pulley would not pull. Called the company talked with several people and they mailed me the parts to fix the generator. I told them I was not a repairman but they said it was a simple procedure. I got the thing fixed and got it running. I tested/started the machine every couple weeks and then it quit working. Called and talked with several people at the company, they told me to get a professional repairman so I did. Mr. Tom Peisinger, TCP Services, LLC, 8189 New Cut Road, Severn, MD 21144. Tel # 410-969-9027. He found valves overtightened; valve bent & damaged where valve appears to have hit into the piston. He replaced valves, studs and nuts which were provided by the manufacturer under parts warranty.

Michelle - Matthew - Mike other people I talked to get this generator squared away.

My complaint is that I bought a brand new generator and it was damaged from day one and had to have parts shipped 3x's and pay a labor bill of $200. I would like to be reimbursed for the labor fee and a warranty for parts for a few extra months but the company refused me any reimbursement and can not give any better warranty and refused to let me talk to a higher supervisor.
