I sent a bag to Thred up and went over each item at least 3 times to make sure they were in like new condition. of my stuffed full back of over 20 items they accepted 6. They gave these reasons for not accepting them Show excessive wear and/or pilling
Are stained
Include sleepwear, socks or undergarments

First off i know I didn't send any sleepwear, socks of undergarments. So it sounds to me like they just make up generic reasons while keeping your stuff. Stay way from this company they are a ripoff. I do know had I sold this stuff elsewhere i could have gotten at least $50. They misrepresent themselves saying they will buy clothing that is name brand in like new condition. I sent Gymboree and Ralph Lauren so it for sure was name brand. I had inspected and it was in like new condition and in fact the items they did accept they listed in excellent condition. I did my part I made sure the items were like new and name brand. They didn't stand up to their end of the deal. They also will not send them back nor show pictures of what they didn't accept to prove something was wrong. Stay far away from this company. Donate your stuff then you at least get a good feeling.

  • Seeking Resolution: Other
  • I would like to see this business do all 3 of those. My regret is I didn't check scambook and other sites before sending my stuff. There are many others the same thing has happened to. If customers are keeping up their end of the deal, making sure clothing is brand name and liked new, they should keep theirs up and pay for it.
