Our experience is similar to complaint no 136272. We got a call from Dish and were offered a promotion saying that we can pay half the price for a full year's cable service. We had to pay the money thru greendot money pack. Things that made us believe was the caller id was Dish- whenever we call the number- it had Dish welcome message. Also that person was able to change channels for us and added a few more channels. When we later called Dish- we found out that this was a fraud. This definitely looks like former employee or agents as they had all the necessary information.
