on 12-14-2012 i was at thrifty car sales to buy a car I told them what I could afford a month on payment so they sold me a 2001 chevy lumina they told me that they checked everything out and was running good the back tires was bald and I said that I wanted new tires on the back then they said that the tire tread was legal then when I got home the engine light was on and I called thrifty they told me to bring it in the next day and they would take a look at it so I took it in andthey never did the mechanic on duty wanted to disconnect the light and I told him no they said in some cars it was normal they wouldn't even look at it the car was sold as is and the car is unsafe the brakes are bad transmission is slipping 2 days later I had a flat tire and took it to firestone to have them fix it they said they couldn't because there wasn't enough tread on the tire so I had to buy 2 new tires that was wrong it would cost me 4500 to fix this piece of junk I want my money back they never told me the car was in an accident they even went way over the blue book value of the car which is 1500 and sold it to me for 5900 they sold me someone else's trade in and they have to check it out before they can accept it for a trade in and I don't think they did they just wanted to make a sale so I want my money back the 1200 plus 180.00 for the new tires and when my brakes go and I'm in an accident I will have a lawsuit against them
