I called about not receiving my title to my Van, and they claimed that I owe them another payment. Originally, the account was set up with 33 payments, and the car lot added an extra $1500 on to my account. One month later I went to get them to correct the contract, they not only closed up shop, kept the contract, never corrected that fact, I gave them the extra $1500 for extended warranty, the salesman disappeared, the new company that own them, claimed they did not get their computers with all the information in it. Okay, I simply contracted Credit Acceptance, they claimed that they didnt get changes either. This December 12,2012 according to my booklet, was my last payment, it was sent on 12/1/12. But, when I called, they claimed I still owe a payment. I spoke with Angela a Manager, she said they will send me a statement. I reviewed it, on it the month automatic payments stopped, that was Dec 2010, the very next month they got two payments and every month until Jan 2012, we sent cashier checks, so that month automatic payment stopped, I sent two payments. Their report clearly shows the two payments posted. However, I got another call again, today one week after I mailed back the money order copies to them, that it shows on their own report. This woman now claimes they got a NSF Check in Dec 2010. Thats impossible, because they would have left me know that by then. But, I contacted them in Nov 2010, let them know I was going to mail in payments instead of automatic payments they said as long as they arrived by the 12th. We agreed then, my account was up to date. When I relocated Dec 2012, I sent payment late, but have not missed one payment. They got all 33 payments. The Scam is that they added on at least $30-80 every month on the date they got payment as late interest, when payments were not late, I don't owe them anything.
