I am not out any financial damage, only irritation, fear, and wasting my time with this company. However, as information, I wanted to report someone from First Loan America
(210-401-2393)with a heavy foreign accent has called me on several occasions(3 times today) about verifying some information about a loan a man had requested (don't know anyone by the name mentioned) I did not request a loan or have any contact with this company. I finally called them back and told them this and that they had a wrong number. I did not give them any personal info, not even my name. I figured this was some kind of a scam company. My concern is where did they get my phone number (I've had the same number for over 30 years), and why were they calling me??? They were very insistant that I get in touch with them. When I told them they had a wrong number, the man just said OK, didn't bother to check further with me about my name or give me a loan account number or anything. Hope this information helps.
