I received a call that was a recording telling me that I could have a reduction to my interest rate on my credit card. Later I learned it was a robo call(illegal) I was told that I would not receive a charge to my credit card. I told the person that I did not trust them. I noticed the charge on my credit card and I disputed it with my credit card compaNY AND i WAS SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE A LETTER IN THE MAIL TO CONTACT bEACON eDUCATION.I didn't receive the letter and I was told by ny credit card company that since I didn't contact Beacon Education by January 6, 2013 that the dispute couldn't be continued. I tried to contact Beacon Education in Oct 2012, but they never called me back. I had a conference call with an employee and the credit card company and he told me that I would get a refund and that he would give his manager my cell phone # to contact me. They never called. My credit card company told me that maybe I could go through other avenues to get a refund. I learned that Beacon Education is no longer in business. I tried to call them and could not contact anyone. I contacted another @ on some paperwork I received and the man that picked up told me that he was with another company and that he offered help with disputes with credit card companies. I told him that I wasn't going to deal with him. It seemed to me that Beacon went under and came up as a new company. Can You help me get my money back?
