They claimed to be a collection company for Check N Go, a loan I took out a few years back. They used scare tactics such as garnishment wages and criminal charges if I did not proceed with a payment plan. So I did, I came to find out this was a scam. On Wed 9/7 I called their offices and told them not to take any money from my account and i wanted to cancel any and all agreements with their company. The legal dept assured me no monies would be taken out. On Fri 9/9 I checked my account and $222.41 was taken out. I called to dispute and the first rep i spoke to was Ms. Marshall who said she would listen to that recorded conversation on 9/7 and if in the convo it states me telling them not to withdrawl funds from y account then it would be refunded. I tried calling the office for her for the next 7 hours, and the other reps I spoke to were completly rude and said she was the only one that can help. I spoke to Kimberly on a 3 way call with my bank to get the funds reversed and she said they could not because the accounting dept was closed. About 10 minutes went by when I received a call from a Ms. Sanchez who told me that she was told by Kimberly to send me a letter stating my account has been paid off and is now closed. I advised her I did not want that all I want is my money back. she said she would call me right back, and never did. After work about 8pm I went to witrhdraw $220 from my account to pay what I could on rent and my account was empty. Instead of refunding me they charged me again. So on 9/9 they took a total of $444.82 that needed to go towards my rent and car payment. So now Im screwed. I spoke to a rep today 9/12 and she said there are notes in the system stating I authorized the charge and agreed to close my account. This never happened. Why would I authorize something like this if the main reason I was calling was to get my money back they took in the first place. Each rep that I have spoke to since then has said the only one that can assist me at this point is Ms. Marshall, which is bull. I spoke to Lisa Anderson who said she would interupt Ms Marshall and try to get this resolved for me. Still no responce. This company is filled with liars and crooks and something needs to happen.
