The suspect contacted me on plentyoffish.com, an online dating site on 10/25/12. We exchanged emails and phone numbers and began conversing. In approximately 3 weeks, the suspect (supposedly named Kieran Jones) called me to ask a favor because he was out on an UN PeaceKeeper assignment in Tel Aviv and his mother's birthday was coming up on 10/28 and he had promised her a birthday party at the assisted living facility she lived. He said the home administrator, Ebi Davis had scheduled a band to perform among having to purchase food and decorations for the event. He said it would cost approx.1200 pounds. At first, I was really weirded out by this because I had never met the guy and we had only been talking for 3 weeks. He gave me Mr. Davis' phone number to call to confirm if what he was telling me was correct. Kieran asked me to send the money by money gram or western union. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable sending money to a stranger this way and would send it through PAYPAL. The suspect gave me Mr. Ebi Davis' email address which is linked to a PAYPAL account. On 11/21/12, I sent $1556 USD to Mr. Davis' Paypal account, [email protected]. On Jan. 4, 2013, Kieran Jones contacted me to ask for money to help pay for his mother's hip therapy. He said she had recently had hip surgery and will need therapy. He said he would have to pay out of pocket because he didn't want her to wait months to receive help. After begging and pleading, and telling me that he felt that I should help him since we would be getting married in December and need to be there for each other. I told him I would see what I could do because I had a lot of expenses myself, one which is getting my car repaired. I sent $773.03 USD to Kieran Jones on Sat., Jan. 19, 2013 and it was picked up on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013. Since then, the suspect has evaded my calls and had promised to visit me on my birthday which is on Wed, Jan. 23 on which we were going to become engaged and plan to marry on Dec. 14, 2013.
