Tom,

We do have one other person interested in the bike, and they scheduled to bring a down payment Wednesday. Will you be able to make the payment by Wednesday morning, so that we can cancel the scheduled meeting with them. I say Wednesday morning, b/c I would like to let them know in advance that the bike has sold. I spoke with my husband, and he agrees that we can make transport arrangements as you have outlined, that is as soon as I can get paypal to release the funds to my bank account.

Hi Cindy,
I had this little problem with the picking it up.they won't come and pick up unless i pay the agent commission fee to schedule time/date and the agent Headquarters in Michigan, All commission payments made for pick up from anywhere in the state is sent to their HQ and the form of payments they accept is western union and i try to make this happen online but i will need a credit card which i didn't bring along.i will include the $700.00 USD to your payment which they charged me to pick up & disassemble it to my Dad home (1st class treatment),You will help me send the agent fee to the HQ,through western union money transfer.

I will make total payment of $5,000.00 USD to your paypal account and $4,200.00 USD for the Item,$700.00 USD for the Pick-Up fee and will be adding $100.00 USD for Western Union Charges.i will forward your address to schedule time and date for Pick-Up when i complete the payment

Regards

Tom

Tom,

I will be available for pickup beginning Friday, granted the payment goes as planned. Please let me know the date the bike will be transported as soon as possible to ensure that someone is here that can get it out. Also, I would prefer to mail the title to your dad via Certified Mail or FedEx Overnight to reach him the expected date of delivery by the transporter, as I don't want it to be lost in transit. Please provide his address. Our address is 16278 Indian Mill, Houston, TX 77082.

Tom,

I am slightly uneasy about making this transaction through paypal, as I have never utilized these services. While reading through the user agreement I came across a section that increases my anxiety see below:

4.4 Risk of Reversals, Chargebacks and Claims. When you receive a payment, you are liable to PayPal for the full amount of the payment sent to you plus any Fees if the payment is later invalidated for any reason. This means that, in addition to any other liability, you will be responsible for the amount of the payment sent by the sender, plus the applicable Fees listed in Section 8 (Fees) of this Agreement if you lose a Claim or a Chargeback or if there is a Reversal of the payment. You agree to allow PayPal to recover any amounts due to PayPal by debiting your Balance. If there are insufficient funds in your Balance to cover your liability, you agree to reimburse PayPal through other means. If a sender of a payment files a Chargeback, the credit card issuer, not PayPal, will determine who wins the Chargeback.

I have been burned before, and can not help but be leery. As you are an Officer in the USAF would you happen to bank with USAA? I do have a USAA account, and a transfer could be made for the payment. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the whole reason my husband is selling the motorcycle is because I lost my job, and we can not afford another burn at this point. If this works for you let me know, if not we will go through Pay Pal.

The bike does need new tires, and the trunk lid flew off on an Austin trip and has some damage to it, other than that the bike is clean. I need to set up a paypal account, unless there is any other method of payment available.
