You need to review the total history of this account. When the Contract was signed by your agent, he charged $ 35 as connection fee. Bell billed me again and later withdrew that charge.

I made no use of the dapa plan for many months as my telephone was not configured and being new to I Phone I had no idea how to do that. I talked to a friend and then called Bell, who volunteered to reduce the date charges (not remove them - I do not have the details with me)
I had later complaints for excessive charges and upon talking to the supervisor, I was given a different plan which was cheaper.

In the recent instance, I was away from Nov 18 to Nov 28 to Colombia. On Nov 21 or 22 I called Bell to ask for any special roaming packing and they advised me that they will put one in place for around $ 70 or so. However when the first bill dated Nov 25 arrived, it showed an exhorbitant charge of $ 546.00 in total which in the light of my special requested plan was very high. However I paid that. The second bill dted Dated 25 shows charges even higher $ 596.38 which is totally unfair and completely un acceptable.
Since the disputes were not resolved, I have requested cancellation of the account now slated for Feb 2, 2013.
According to Bell representative not only Dec bill of 596.38 is payable, there will be additional $ 215.00 comprising of 7 months balance of contract at 20 each and some connection fee (all over again ) of 70 will be charged.

Since Bell has failed to resolve the issue and continue to be unfair and non competitive in the market, I have elected to cancell the account and at the same time contest the charges with legal authorities plus notify Better Business Bureau etc.
