I went online to look for work in the Mystery Shopping companies. The next thing I knew I had a check in my mailbox for $2,575.00 made out to me, but I had not filled out an application?? I was very confused! The letters in the Envelope said I was a new Mystery Shopper and I was to follow the directions in the letter, and fill in the forms then fax it asap. They were paying me 375.00 and they wanted me to go to Jc Penny's and Sears to spend 80 bucks each, the other thing was to send money over seas to see if Western Union was a good service. The Money I had to send was 1900.00..... I thought the whole thing was a little weird but I wanted to see what was gonna happen with these jerks. When I called the so called business the guy had such a thick accent I could not understand his English!! I struggled to understand him, there was an echo on the phone like he was sitting in his kitchen, Just a very un professional feeling from the first second I spoke to him.
I know someone that owns a Western Union, they thought it was a scam too. I asked my bank if I deposited the check and it cleared after three days could they reverse the check and take it back? My Bank said YES, THEY CAN!!! The company who gave me the check can tell my bank insufficient funds after it clears up to 14 days after the money is gone, then I have to cover the check even though I send the money over Seas!!!! What a Scam!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy on the phone from the scam company Global Test Market, kept pushing me to go to Western Union to send the Money, when I didn't, he got nasty and reversed the check just what the Bank told me they could do I'm glad I didn't spend the money I am a single Mom I would of been out 2500 dollars. These People are really scam artists, They say they are out of Buffalo NY,then they say their home office is in Atlanta Ga. The original check came from Fla. Never ever Western Union money, unless you know the person.
