I recieved an E-mail from Mallam Sansisi Lamido Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria saying that the UNO and the President of Nigeria have had several meetings and to rectify the damages from the scams done to over 5000 victims around the world and the country of Nigeria. They had arrested many scam artists and want to compensate 20 victims with $5,500,000 each. He said 12 had already been paid and if I respond I qualify as one of the remaining 8. They found my name listed by the men they arrested, as a victim. I responded and was sent to someone else name Sara. She sent me to VintageLawyers.com in London.
I was asked to send a copy of my driver licence to prove who I was. I was also told that the average payment was $1,950,000.
Then he sent me an e-mail wanting a noterized affidavit, then they would send me the compensation payment.
I sent the affidavid, but my computer messed up and I realized it kept being forward to myself. I called and talked to Kalervo Ensio. He sent another e-mail address and I sent the affidavit to that address. Then I got an e-mail with a copy of an affidavid for Her Maiesty Court Services he wanted me to fill out and send 480pds court fee for the filling of the affidavid (this affidavit ask for all my banking information even though I had requested the compensation be delivered by a courier). 480pds translates to $733. I told him there was no way I have that kind of money and I was disappointed that after all the talk about Nigeria trying to improve thier image, he would expect me to send him money to get money and that is the first thing the scam alerts tell you not to do. I asked him why he only told me to send a noterized affidavit if he was going to turn around and ask for another one from the UK, and send money.
I did some research and found Vintage Lawyers are in Astraila and you could buy the name domain for around $2200. Then I started looking for the affidavid through Her Majesty court services in London and all I got was there wasn't a form like that.
