My e-mail stopped working and the usual pop-up box appeared to ask me if I wanted to send an error report to Microsoft. I did, and within 30 minutes I got a call from a guy purporting to be from Microsoft who asked me to turn on teamviewer so he could sort it out for me. Well, like a fool, I trusted him and he downloaded malwarebytes and ran it, which fixed my problem, but then he asked for £83.45 for the licence which he said had to go to our government. I was so stupid I should have at that point just put the phone down, but it's easy to be wise after the event. I have since read that it is a scam and I feel so sick.
