It started with the money situation around the second weekend of august of 2011. He only asked for $30 at that time for food. He said he got sick while being driven by his driver to a meeting and he passed out and he later found out it was a stroke. He said he was from Isle of Palms S.C. He was in Atlanta when he got sick and was in the hospital for over a year with different medical complications. (con jested heart failure, too much fluid on the lungs, pace maker put in, needed to have breathing treatments 4 times a day and have a air purifying machine) Over time money was asked for help with getting the medical supplies he needed and to pay the lawyers so I would be able to come and see him (be put on the visiting list because he was rich and if the name was not on the list I couldn't see him. this had to be done by the lawyer so he said) He told me that he wanted to hurry up and get out of the hospital so we could be married. He mentioned about his daughter staying with me until he gets out of the hospital during Thanksgiving then time passed and the same thing was said for Christmas. He said he had the house servants to fix up the house for us and it will stay that way until we get there. Time passed on and money was borrowed from here and there to get him the things he said he needed badly to help us get closer to being married. I was in an automobile accident and he talked me out of all of the money from the wreck. My son was given a check for going to the E.R from the wreck but no major medicals happened to him. Only a seat belt burn lightly on his stomach. My son was 11 when this happened. The check for that was $3854. Later on I was paid off for the truck and it was totaled at $5980. Then the medical part was paid off at 15,900 and all of this money went to him. So he said for lawyer and medical needs in order for us to go on and be married just as soon as these things were done. I had such love and trust in this man. There was nothing I wouldn't do for him. We would share bible conversation for hours. We would pray together and he would always lead the prayers. He started talking to the kids on the phone and teasing with them. They started believing him as well. He would tell us how he would make sure that nothing wrong would ever happen to me again. Express to the kids how much he loves me and wants to marry me. Told them what their role would be in the wedding. The wedding would be his favorite color...purple. He told of his many houses and the main one being at 100 Ocean Blvd. Isle of Palms S.C. He then said at one time we would live in Manhattan N.Y in his brownstone there. He told me since his stay in the hospital and his sister Tracy stealing his money and mismanaging it his private jet/plane had been repossessed. Tracey is supposed to be his sister and his personal accountant. He said she had him committed because he didn't want to live and was telling everybody that would listen he wanted to die after his brother pasted away. With him being committed she had full control over his companies and was taking his money. I have recordings of him saying this and more. I have recordings of him telling me how he wants me to marry him, how he expresses his love to me and even sings his love to me and tell me how I am his "everything". I borrowed plenty of money from November til my payoff from my accident. It was a good 10,000 between Nov. and Dec. alone and the rest from selling my storage shed in my back yard, my living room suite and decorative pictures in my house and then the pay offs. I really was blinded by what I thought was a real God fearing man. I thought this man was truly sent to me by God and there was nothing I wouldn't do to help him. Now I simply want my money back and let God take it from there on how he is going to take care of him for using his name for greedy purposes. I did investigations on him and found it odd I could never find "Melvin Tenaj" anywhere. After looking and looking and looking I finally found things that came together like a puzzle. He always talked about his daughter whose name is Chantel. I came across a Melvin in S.C that had a Chantel to it but it was not under "Tenaj" I found the real person under Melvin Echols. He is married to Yolanda for over 20 years and yes, he does have a daughter named Chantel. He told me she is going to school at NASA. That is not true. He also said she drives a Chrysler 300 (because I told him I have one)but she does not have a Chrysler. He lives in Charleston S.C. I am told that he is a really heavy set dark skinned man with dreads in his hair since 10 years ago. (that reminds me: he told me while in the hospital "his hair has grown almost to his butt and it has big curls, hair like a goat I look like Jesus with the beard and long hair". I have plenty of pictures of what he wants to be him and he was forever bragging about his "13 inch penis" and loved phone sex. He claimed his favorite food is chitterlings. He told me his sister Tracy has a son with down syndrome. He said his brother died April 23, 2010. He said his original home is Cape Verde. He said he has been here for over 15 years. His first U.S living place was N.Y. He claimed he went to Yale and Harvard and graduated top of his class from both schools. He loved calling me "Ghetto" I didn't even see where it would fit in at. example (i would ask has he heard anything from the lawyer today, "you so ghetto, if I would have heard anything I would have told you baby. I have to go now oow why do you do that to me?!?!" There is so much to tell I can go on for days. I think this is enough for anyone to see that this man is a money hungry hard hear ted man.
