tried to defraud me for $750 in purchasing my father's cemetary plot. He wanted me to send $750 to western union to pay for a pick up service when there was nothing to pick up. the transaction was only transferring a deed on a cemetary plot. he claimed he would place $3250 into pay pal + the $750 to reimburse me for payment to Western Union. I did not do this but I am afraid he is trying this scam on people listing things on Craigslist where I listed my dad's plot for sale.

- The same email address is doing the same thing to me as we speak. Unlike your situation there is a transferable good this time, a camera, but end result is the same. He is seeking to add £300 extra to my Paypal invoice in order to get me to send money to a shipping agency via Western Union. It seemed fishy from the beginning since he said he was from Albany, GA and I am selling my camera in London, UK. He said it was for his son who is living here. Using Paypal added dignity and legitimacy to the transaction, so I continued to the invoice. But something just didn't feel right, and it is not going to happen now.
