  • This too has recently happened to me on 12.31.12; i noticed it on 1.5.13 on my bank statement. I give them a call and she wanted my name and I was like; well, I have the account number on my bank statement, can i just give you that? And she said, she was unable to look it up. I asked her multiple times to know what type of business this was and I even asked her for their address; she said, "she was unable to give out that information." Since when, I had thought?

Anyhow, I went to bank and I just need to head over the police department and file a police report on fraudulent activity and bring the police report back to the bank with the proper paper work that I just filled out and my money will than be refunded to me. So I do feel blessed. If you're really wanting your money back; than I would do something immediately and close your account and open up another one!
