This company contacted me with an offer to procure grants for starting a business. $6,000 they guaranteed grants for up to $500,000. I received letters of intent to send to different foundations, all of which I have never heard from. This company then contacted me in February, 2013 to tell me I had been offered a grant for $650,000 but in order receive it I needed to set up a non-profit corporation. This would cost $7,800 and the grantor would only allow them to do it. I then had to pay $850 to the Federal IRS to process the non profit application. To date, I have not received any grant funds or have cleared the non profit process. When trying to contact this company, their phones were disconnected. I feel really stupid and angry for being taken in by this company.
