I have been a victim of the Romance Scam. I started talking online to a man I met at the Zoosk dating site. The man said he lived in Washington state, He then told me he was going to London. We became close and he started asking me to send small amounts of money to his daughters nanny, Angela Pope in Idaho. Then he said he was stranded in Nigeria, and had a check for 8500.00 he had to have sent to my house because he could not cash it in Nigeria. I took it to my bank, 3 days after it was posted I was instructed to send western unions and moneygrams to several different people in Nigeria. The check was fraudulent and I am responsible now for 8500.00.

- II would like to press charges against this individual. He also has a cohort name Micheal Johnson, who scammed several people out of thousands of dollars. I am responsible for that money I picked up at Western Union as well. I want them tracked down and punished to the full extent of the law.
