My wife saw a link to Michael Kors through Facebook. The site looked legit until we finished checking out. Upon further inspection some things caught our attention that made us look further. The payment was made through a Chinese company which was our first indication. We called Michael Kors directly and they confirmed that this was not their website or one affiliated with them. Additionally, the fake site had a 24 hour customer chat feature that did not work and when you clicked on the contact us tab it only allowed you to email. I also clicked on their conditions of use tab and I saw the following "The entire content included in this site, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is copyrighted as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws, and is the property of michaelkorsplaza.us. The collective work includes works that are licensed to michaelkorsplaza.us Copyright 2010-2012, MICHAELKORSPLAZA.US ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with michaelkorsplaza.us or purchasing michaelkorsplaza.us products." Notice it does not say Michael Kors but MichaelKorsplaza; when I did a search on Michaelkorsplaza.us. it came up as fraudulent. Luckily the payment was placed on hold by our bank before it went through so we canceled that card and should be able to stop payment. I just wanted to put this information out before it happens to someone else.
